Dear Friends,

I’d like to take this opportunity wish you all a happy and healthy holiday season. I’d also like to thank each and every one of you for your kind words, respect and support for CTA. It has been an incredible ride, one that has had many twists and turns. But then again my life has never been normal, from growing up in the streets of Chicago to my long and illustrious tenure with the group Chicago; it has been a long journey of incredible highs and down to depths lows. To be honest I wouldn’t change a thing, I’ve been truly blessed.

I want to share some observations with you. As we are all experiencing, each in our own way, these trying and troubling times. The likes of which I have never experienced and I just turned 60 last August and they say like nothing since the great depression. Yet there is great hope for meaningful change in our messed up world. We’ve elected our first black president, female secretary of state. With this sudden shift in power brought on by the financial crisis. There may finally be a movement towards peace, environmental awareness and government accountability and transparency. That has been absent for so long that it now threatens our children and grand children’s future. In closing I have hope for all of our futures and look forward to bringing our music to your town and country.
